Boracay Ranked 10th Among World’s Best Islands. The island has once again captured the hearts of travelers worldwide, maintaining its place as one of the most beloved destinations for 2023.

The prestigious survey, conducted by United States-based travel website Travel+Leisure delivered an impressive score of 92.94. Boracay ranked 10th out of 25 stunning islands around the globe.

Known for its pristine white sands, exciting water activities, and vibrant nightlife, Boracay stands out effortlessly from other island paradises. As “the island that never sleeps” its reputation for its lively parties and nightlife is well-deserved.

The top spot on the list of the world’s favorite islands was secured by the Great Barrier Reef Islands in Australia. Other noteworthy destinations included Maldives, Bali in Indonesia, Madeira in Portugal, Phuket in Thailand, and a host of other breathtaking locations.

The survey, which garnered opinions from 165,000 readers, evaluated the islands based on several criteria, encompassing natural attractions/beaches, activities/sights, restaurants/food, people/friendliness, and value.

Whilst this recent recognition adds to Boracay’s continuing reputation as a key holiday destination in the Philippines. In the previous year the same website ranked Boracay as the 9th best island in the world and the 4th best island in Asia.

In truth, Boracay is awarded number one status for best beach or island less often now. This is likely because travelers from around the world are now finding it easier to visit other Philippine destinations.

As travel routes open up and those destinations hone their promotion and tourism facilities, it has become easier for travelers to try different locations.  And we have seen El Nido and the Banaue Rice Terraces featuring in traveler award categories more regularly.

But after the rehabilitation in 2018 and now that people are able to travel again, we are sure that Boracay island will start to take its place at the top of the ranks once again.  Certainly the island is one of the easiest to travel to for tourists.
