The September Online Sale (SOS) is back with over 80 hotels and resorts participating this year!
The sale period runs from September 1st to the 30th, 2023 with bargains to be grabbed in 19 beautiful Philippine destinations.
Similar to 2022, SOS offers up to 70 percent discounts on hotel stays, food and beverage promotions, banquet deals, and other hospitality offerings.

Even for the two most popular travel periods – the holiday season and summer.
What is the September Online Sale?
The September Online Sale was originally established during the pandemic to provide support to the struggling Philippine hospitality sector.
Although the pandemic is over HSMA Director, and The Linden Suites General Manager, Celeste Romualdo, explained:
“Online shopping is never going away. It’s economical. [With SOS] You don’t have to sit through traffic to go to the fair, plus you have a month to really think through the deals you want to get. There is also a steady pattern now of travelers booking more of their vacations and trips online”
SOS is organized by the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA). The online sale is also backed by the Department of Tourism, the Tourism Promotions Board, Atlantis, and Isentia.
In 2020, SOS generated PHP 14.1 million in sales by selling 1,752 vouchers for hotel rooms and food packages. This figure doubled in the following year, reaching PHP 29.6 million.
This year HSMA aims to surpass 2022 sales, which amounted to PHP 36.8 million worth of vouchers.
The sale will be categorized into clusters based on the area, including Metro Manila, Clark, Baguio, Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, Palawan, and more.
HSMA President Loleth So expressed her enthusiasm during the launch:- “There will be no limits when it comes to restrictions, travel, etc. It’s open, so technically speaking, the chances of hotels and resorts being able to sell will be very good.”
