    • yourhospitalityhub says:

Hi Fatima, The list details we have are dated at 20th September. Any updates we’ve received have been from Establishments, who have provided us with a copy of their Certificates as validation. Currently all water activities are on hold whilst a Marine Assessment is carried out. Whether Yellow Submarine has its papers or not, we do not know as they have not advised us (which they don’t have to). Our advice would be to contact them via their Facebook Page

  • I saw that oceanway residences is classified as residential and not rental. What do you mean by that? Because we have a booking this Nov 18-20 and got it thru Airbnb. Does it mean the place is not allowed to accept guest? Please enlighten me. Thanks!

    • yourhospitalityhub says:

At the time of posting the Department of Tourism have not yet decided how to manage accommodations that are offered via Airbnb. In the past some businesses offered purely through Airbnb did not hold all the relevant permits that are expected of Hotels and Resorts, and some may not have been paying taxes. The Department of Tourism are working on a policy for Airbnb-sold properties where those properties do have all the papers and permits that are required of hotel accommodations. Oceanway, has it’s papers. Your best bet is to contact the person or management company behind the unit that you have booked. They will update you. Things are changing quickly, day by day, and it is likely that clarification about Airbnb properties will be issued shortly
