Ang Larawan was released internationally as The Portrait in 2017. A musical, directed by Loy Arcenas, Ang Larawan is based on the 1997 stage play Larawan, which was based on the 1950 literary play A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino by National Artist Nick Joaquin. Ang Larawan is set in 1941, just before World War II, in a mansion in Intramuros, Manila.
