Bored?  Trying to think of things to do when you’re in Lock Down?  MY RANGGO is here to help!

Many people are just not used to being at home for long periods of time.  So this extended Enhanced Community Quarantine is hard to take. There is only so much TikTok, Facebook and Instagram you can view before it feels like you have seen them already.

MY RANGGO has pulled together some free activities and sites that you can enjoy from your own home.

There are many Museums and Art Galleries offering virtual tours of their museums or exhibits via Google Arts & Culture.

The British Museum, London – Visit the entrance to the British Museum and then select rooms to visit from the gallery below it.

Guggenheim Museum, New York – Enter the main page, then select each room from the gallery below the main screen

Musée d’Orsay, Paris France offers an online tour. The Gallery at the bottom of the main page will take you to different rooms in the museum.

The Louvre, France offers three online virtual tours of Egyptian Antiquities, The Remains of the Louvre Moat, Galerie D’Apollon and the Exhibition:  the Advent of the Artist.

National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea 

Pergamon Museum, Berlin allows you to visit images of their exhibits, click on each image and information will come up about the ancient antiquity from Pergamon

Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam google Arts & Culture allows you to visit this art gallery in Amsterdam where you can get up close and personal with the paintings

Van Gogh Museum – holds the Worlds largest collection of paintings, drawings and personal letters, by Vincent van Gogh.

Glyndebourne’s Mozart Festival – Glyndebourne, UK is showing concerts from their recent Mozart Festival, online

  • Die Entführung aus dem Serail – Mozart’s first Viennese opera is available until 20th May.  A young Spanish noblewoman Konstanze has been abducted by pirates together with her English maid Blonde, and Pedrillo, her betrothed Belmonte’s valet.
  • Don Giovanni – is available until 11th September 2020.  Mozart’s Don Giovanni is insatiable and he’ll try it on with anyone whether high ranking or servant.  But one of his conquests results in murder and it all gets very messy for him.

Wigmore Hall UK – has a list of past classical performances, which can be viewed at any time

The Metropolitan Opera is livestreaming past Opera Performances, starting at 7.30PM Eastern Daylight Time (so 7.30am for the Philippines).  The livestreams stay up for 23 hours and are available on the Met Opera and on-demand apps (Apple, Amazon, Roku devices and Samsung Smart TV).  Just click ‘Browse and Preview” in the apps for connected TV.  Or “Explore the App” on tablets and mobile devices.
